Webrick is a team of passionate Adult Fans of Building Blocks (AFOBs) who enjoy building and admiring the creations of others using simple plastic blocks. However, we noticed a significant gap in the market, where finding replacement LEGO bricks was not easy. To address this issue, Webrick was established, offering a simple and affordable option for people worldwide to order high-quality alternative LEGO® bricks.

Since the beginning, our number one goal has been to connect brick fans with the highest quality and most affordable LEGO® compatible building blocks. To achieve this goal, we partnered with the very best manufacturers available, including Sembo, Kazi, Decool, and more. This ensures our customers will have access to the widest variety of parts and colors to choose from while offering budget-friendly prices. 

While our partners are in charge of producing the best alternative bricks around, what we do is handle everything in between. That means working together to forge relationships with high-quality manufacturers and sorting partners, while also creating the easiest to use and most flexible platform for our customers.

One of the things we’re most proud of here at Webrick is our upload tool. It offers a quick convenient way for customers to upload a large list of parts for their projects. If you’re new to our site or using a parts list to order alternative bricks, there’s no need to worry. We’ve created this guide to help you get started with your order. 

First, you’re going to need a parts list to upload. One of the most popular places to acquire a list of parts is a site like Rebrickable, where you can export the parts under the inventory tab in several different file formats. Parts lists can also be obtained from other third-party websites which sell MOC instructions.

Below is a list of the formats our upload tool supports.

Once you have acquired a parts list, you’ll need to sign up for an account on our website before you can use the upload tool. After that is completed, you’re ready to get started. 

Upload the file from your computer

After choosing which mode you’d like to use, click on “Browse for file” and select your parts list. Uploading the list will typically take around 10 seconds or less. Once the process has finished, you’ll be presented with the results. 

Check the match result

Here, you’ll see how many of your parts are available, a detailed list of every part, the quantity, the price of each individual part, and the total price for each quantity.

Check the parts that are out of stock and download to find on elsewhere

There is also an overview of the parts that are out of stock. Parts can be unavailable for many reasons, sometimes it is due to lack of sufficient stock, while other times it is simply a color our vendors do not produce or a printed piece. 

No matter what the reason, you can click on “Out of stock parts” in the results screen and view the part number and color ID. We also provide a handy way to export the missing pieces to an XML file which can be used on Bricklink to fill in for the parts we don’t stock

Buy all available parts with one click

The final step is to add the parts to your cart and to choose whether you want to continue uploading more lists or proceed to checkout.

One of the things we’re most proud of here at Webrick is the Wanted List, which is the most important and powerful feature on our site. It allows you to manage your part lists and share your designs with others. We will introduce you to the functions of the Wanted list here. How to Create Wanted Lists

You may create your Wanted List from several places.

• Upload tool
• Product page
• Shopping Cart

Upload tool

It can easily add a bunch of items to your Wanted Lists by the upload tool. The "Add to Wanted List" button will appear above the match result after the upload tool presents the match result. If you want to know how to use the tool, please click here.

If you click "Add to Wanted List", please note that just available and out-of-stock items will be added to your Wanted Lists (existing or new).

Product page

On the product page, the “Add to Wanted List" can be found next to the “Add to Cart” button. The button remains active regardless of whether the item is currently in stock or not, allowing you to easily add any number of any item to your Wanted List.

Shopping Cart

On the shopping cart page, the “Add to Wanted List" can be found in the upper right corner.

This feature is suitable for customers who have many items in their shopping carts and don’t want to order these items at present, and after adding them to your Wanted List, they can manage the items very well.

How to Manage Wanted Lists

There are two ways to access your Wanted Lists. 

Click “My Account” in the upper right corner of the website, and then click “My Wanted List”

Click “View my Wanted List” after adding the items to your Wanted List in the pop-up box

Our Wanted Lists contain many features that allow you to manage your Wanted Lists well. Here we will show you how to make good use of the Wanted Lists.

Wanted Lists Overview

In the “My Wanted List” section of the Account Dashboard, you are able to see all your existing Wanted Lists. It is straightforward to see the types and numbers of the items, and the percentage of match results for each Wanted List, with a button to quickly copy the share link.

Upload New Items

There are several ways to add new items to the new or existing Wanted List. You can navigate to the ”how to create Wanted List“ section to learn more.

If you want to add new items to the Wanted List on the Wanted List page, you need to select the Wanted List you want to add the parts and click the “Upload” button on the right side.

Our parts upload tool is integrated into the Wanted List page, so just upload your part list to the tool, after the match result is represented, you can choose what parts (in-stock and out-of-stock) will be added to the Wanted List.

Download Items

On the right side, you also can see the “Download” button. You are able to download the entire Wanted List with in-stock and out-of-stock items. You can simply download the out-of-stock items in XML format and look for the out-of-stock parts elsewhere.

What can I use the other buttons for?

Share: Easy to copy the share link by clicking the “Share” button.

Select Box: Select the items you want to make changes to, such as move, copy, add to cart, etc.

Move: Move the selected items to another existing or new Wanted List. The items will disappear from the original Wanted List and will only exist in the Wanted List you moved to.

Copy: Copy the selected items to another existing or new Wanted List. These items will remain on both the original Wanted List and another Wanted List that you copy to.

How to Monitor Item Inventory

Sometimes you need items that may not be currently in stock, so you cannot purchase those items. The inventory monitoring feature will help you monitor the parts inventory automatically, so there is no need to manually check the inventory! This also helps you buy most items from our website as much as possible! For now, the parts that have not been recognized can’t be added to the Wanted List. We will update that later.

Here, we’ll show you how to enable automatic monitoring and get notified when the items you want are in stock.

Enabling Inventory Monitoring

The "Inventory Notice" section is located at the top of the page.

Toggle the switch to enable monitoring to set up the parameters and get notified. Alternatively, click on the “Configure” button to set specific monitoring parameters.

Set the conditions

The stock criterion is applied to the matched items only. The inventory is changing frequently so you better to order once you receive the email.

There are two conditions:

Items in stock

The more items in stock mean the better chance you can replace them with other available colors to get the full set.

Pieces in stock

The more pieces in stock mean you need to spend less money to find parts elsewhere.

After our unmatched items are available to add to the Wanted List, you can take better control of the full set.

How to Share Wanted Lists

It is a very convenient feature for you to share your Wanted List with your friends or on social media.

Get Share Link

Find the Wanted List you want to share (if you haven't yet, check how to create your Wanted List here), and click the “Share” button to the right of the Wanted List you want to share to copy the share link. Only the person who knows the link can check your Wanted List.

You also can find the “Share” button on the right side when viewing the Wanted List 

Before sharing, if you want to give more information about your Wanted List to the people you shared, you are able to create an appropriate name and make some remarks to describe your Wanted List. Click “Edit” next to the name and then you can rename the part list and make some remarks.

What if I order a part list that is currently 95% successfully matched? Should I just wait for it until it turns to 100%?

I would suggest you order as soon as you can if the match rate is over 95% because the inventory of each item changes every few minutes, which means if you wait for A item may be B item turns out of stock when A is ready.

I missed some pieces I meant to order. Is there any way to combine it with my existed order before it ships?

All our orders are customized services and once the order has been generated then it will be processed to the sorting step and it will require much extra manpower and communications if we are required to add extra pieces to the previous order. So we don't take any requirements about adding extra pieces into processing order no matter Gobricks or default parts involved.

What to do if my order is missing pieces?

We accept one replacement request per order without a time limit. Check the detailed policy our missing or broken parts policy

What payment methods do you accept?

• If you order parts with a mix of default and Gobricks parts, the processing time would be 7 - 10 business days.

Shipping & Delivery

How long will it take to ship the order out?

Pure default source bricks will be shipped within 3 business days. If your order includes Default 1KG source bricks, the processing time will be taken 7 - 15 days.

What kinds of delivery methods do we offer?

Standard shipping and Express shipping.

Express shipping methods include DHL, and FedEx. It takes about 7-10 business days to deliver. Standard shipping is shipped by air too (such as Yun express ). It takes about 10-20 business days to deliver.

Do we offer free shipping?

No, the shipping fee is calculated based on product weight. Please check the shipping rate from here

What's the policy for VAT?

European VAT is already been included in our price.

How much will I have to pay for shipping?

What if I don't receive my package after a long time and the shipping status has not been updated for a long time?

We will arrange a reshipment if you don't receive your package after 45 days(start from the day of the tracking information get online).

Wrong, Missing, or damaged Parts

There are huge kinds of parts in the store, so the difficulty of distribution and storage is large. If there is a mismatch, please contact us directly to get a solution.

For missing or damaged parts, we will send them to you for free without any excuses.

Delivery Special Notes

If you receive a package with obvious problems caused in transit, please contact us within 7 days so we can check with the logistics company to confirm the cause of the problem.

Out of stock issue

Cases of out-of-stock:

1. Can't find the color you need. Maybe this color is not produced or it is temporarily sold out. Please wait patiently for production or restock. And don't hesitate to contact us ([email protected]) to ask for details.
2. Adding to the shopping cart, but there are parts out of stock when placing the order. The parts have been purchased by other customers because the inventory will be locked only after the order is submitted. Inventory changes from time to time, so you can submit your order as soon as possible to avoid this situation from happening.

Return & Refund Policy

• Bricks orders are customized orders. We only accept order canceling within 24 hrs. 
  
  
• If an order has already been shipped: Each brick order is hand-picked and packaged to ensure the highest quality is maintained. Returns are not accepted, but we will gladly reship any missing items or damaged, defective items immediately. 

If damaged parts, missing parts, or quality problems happened, you can contact our customer service for a replacement.
